Harvest Ridge 5K Race Day FAQs and Packet Pick Up

Below is useful information to help make your race day and after party a pleasurable experience. Please read through prior to race day.

  • Race Date and Time: June 1st at 9am
  • Location: Harvest Ridge Winery – located at 447 Westville Road, Marydel, DE 19964
  • Packet Pick Up Options Below: Please Note that packets will not be mailed before or after race day.
    1. 1st Option (suggest when possible) is Friday, May 31st at Harvest Ridge Winery from 4-6pm. You can pick up for others too. Please have bib numbers available for runners you pick up for – these numbers will be emailed to you by Friday morning.  
    2. 2nd Option is on race morning at Harvest Ridge Winery from 7:15am-8:30am.
  • Arrival Time – We strongly urge that all runners show up no later than 8:30am on race morning to park, get situated, use bathrooms, and hear announcements. There is a half mile walk from parking area to start of race.
  • Parking: There is plenty of free parking in 2 lots – you will be directed. Please note that most parking is located approximately a half mile from start area – so please plan accordingly. 
  • Bag Check: There will be Bag Check Available at the registration tent. Bag check is open during the run. Belongings should be pick up within 15 minutes of completing the run.
  • Complimentary Drink: Race bibs will have a drink ticket attached to be redeemed for either a glass of Harvest Ridge wine or Rebel Seed Cider. Additional bottles, glasses, and cases may be purchased at post run
  • Post Run Festivities:  There will be plenty to do and enjoy after you complete the run, including Live Music, Games, Awards, Wine, Hard Cider and Eating! Lawn Chairs are encouraged!
  • Food Truck: There will be a Food Truck on site for after the run.
  • No Outside Alcohol is permitted per law.
  • Under Age Drinking: Obviously strictly prohibited. Please note that the winery staff has the right to card runners they feel appropriate. Please have ID available if you feel you may get carded.
  • Results: We will have Live Results as you cross the finish line. There will be an on-site kiosk, plus results will be emailed and posted on our website. www.gooddayforarun.com
  • Awards: There are awards for the top 3 overall male/female finishers, plus in the following age groups: Under 14, 14-19, 20-29, 30-39,…60-69, 70 plus
  • Photos: You will receive a link to FREE downloadable photos via email after the run. We will also post link on Facebook.
  • No Refunds or Transfers
  • The Event is Rain or Shine!
  • Family and Friends are encouraged to come and CHEER!
  • Course: This course is flat, mostly “off road,” and includes a wooded trail and grass paths along and through the vines.  It is very picturesque and offers a variety of terrain. The course will be very well marked and have course marshals to direct you.
