GDFAR Festival – FAQs and Packet Pick Up Info

Important Info – Please Read Through

  • Race Time: September 8th at 9am (5K Starts at 9am, 15K starts at 9:06am)
  • Location: Bellview Winery – 150 Atlantic Street, Landisville, NJ 08326
  • Race Day Arrival: Please be on site by 8:30am (Roads will have limited access getting to winery as race is on area roads)
  • Packet Pick Up Options:
    • Saturday (Sept 7th) Noon-2pm at Running Co in Mullica Hill located at 86 N. Main Street
    • Sunday (Sept 8th) 7:15am – 8:30am at Bellview Winery
    • If convenient, we recommend one of the pre-race day PPU options. Running Co offers a 20% discount for those picking up during ppu hours. You may pick up for others.
  • Parking: There is plenty of on-site parking in a large field behind the winery. You will be directed.
  • Bag Check: GDFAR offers a bag check convenience for the race. Please note that all bags should be picked up within 15 minutes of completing race.
  • Results: All Results will be available at race. They will also be at www.GoodDayforaRun.com live. You will be emailed a link.
  • Photos: Race photos will be professionally taken and offered as free downloads. Link will be emailed within 48 hours and posted on website.
  • Awards: Awards will take place at approximately 11am on stage. Awards are offered to top 3 in each age group (10 years) and to overall winners (3 deep). While age group awards are determined by chip start, the overall awards are determined by a Gun Start.  
  • Finisher Medals: All participants will receive a Finishers Medal and a souvenir Wine Glass upon completion!
  • Alcohol Policy: Per ABC rules and regulations, NO OUTSIDE ALCOHOL IS PERMITTED.
  • Course: The course is a mixture of pavement and off road. The course is scenic and flat.  
    • There will be 2 water stops for the 5K and 4 water stops for the 15K.
    • On site music provided near midway point.

  • General Race Rules: 
    • No Pets on Course
    • Headphones are strongly discouraged (for your safety and others)
    • Walkers are welcome – All participants should be finished by 11:15am. 
  • General After Party Info:
    • You will receive 2 drink tickets – 1 for a tasting and 1 for a glass of wine
    • You may bring food – But we have 3 AMAZING Food vendors – Buon Viaggio Wood Fired Cuisine (Wood Fired Pizza), Top Shelf Mobile Cuisine, Manninos Cannoli Express
    • Lawn Chairs and Blankets are encouraged.  Limited seating is available.
    • Over 15 vendors, activities, and entertainment is scheduled for post run fun until 1pm. Fun for all ages!
    • Moon Bounce for Kids! (Parents Must Monitor Children)
    • Spectators of all ages are welcome. 
    • No Pets Please

    • 7:15-8:30am – Arrival and Check-in (If you picked up at pre race day ppu, you do not need to re-check-in.  
    • 8:40am – Pre Race Warm Up with Brandi
    • 8:45am – Announcements
    • 8:55am – National Anthem
    • 9am – 5K Start
    • 9:06am – 15K Start
    • 9:30am-11am – Live Music by Greg Jones
    • 11am – Awards for both 5K and 15K
    • 11:20-1pm – Live Music by 99 Reasons cover band
