Destination Enoteca – FAQ and PPU

Following is useful information to help make your race day a fun and successful experience.

Date: Oct. 8th at 9am

Location: Auburn Road Winery – 117 Sharptown Road, Pilesgrove, NJ 08098

Parking: Parking is available at the Winery and on the road.  Please carpool when possible, as parking is tight! 

Packet Pick Up Options:

  1. Pre Race Day PPU: Oct 5th (Thursday) from 5-7pm at Running Co in Mullica Hill, located at 86 N Main Street. Enjoy a 15% shopping discount during our PPU time.
  2. Race Day PPU: Oct 8th from 7:30am-8:30am at Auburn Road Winery.

Race Day Arrival Time: All runners should be on location and ready for announcements by 8:45am. Race starts at 9am.  If you have picked up packet prior to race day, arrive by 8:30am. If you need to pick up your packet on race morning, we suggest arriving by 8am.

Post Run Festivities: We will have live music from 9:30am-noon. Plus all runners will enjoy a complimentary glass of wine (drink ticket is on your bib). There will also be some lawn games and a food vendor for you to enjoy! There is a generous amount of seating indoors and outdoors. You are welcome to bring lawn chairs.


Awards: Awards will be presented to the Top 3 Overall Runners (male/female) and Top 3 in each age group (under 20, 20-29,…). Presentation will take place at approximately 10:00am. Overall winners are based on “gun start” and the Age Group winners are based on “chip start”.

Results: All results will be available immediately after race (on site kiosks) and will be posted to this website, and emailed to you!

Photos: We will have a photographer on-site taking pictures. All pictures will be available for free downloads.  Link will be posted and emailed once available.

Course Notes: This is a 3.1 mile run which is for the most part flat and a mixture of pavement and “off-road.”. It is not considered technical, but will be a fun, new experience if you are not used to running off road (all positive!). Most runners experience a slightly slower pace than when running on pavement.   You do not need trail shoes for this run, but if you have some, you may choose to wear them.  The course will be well marked and we will have course marshals at all key locations. There will be a water stop close to the midway point.

Bag Check: We do Offer Bag Check, however this venue has parking within 200 yards of start/finish area – so leaving items in car is convenient too. We just ask that if you leave a bag with our Bag Check Station, that your items get picked up within 15 minutes of completing the run.

Spectators: Family and Friends are encouraged to come and cheer on. This event is fun for all ages!
