Blue Mountain 5K FAQ and PPU Info

Following is information regarding the Run the Vineyards – Blue Mountain 5K Race Day FAQ and Packet Pick Up Options. Please read through to get answers and to help make your race day an amazing experience!

  1. Race Date: July 6th at 9am
  2. Location:  Blue Mountain Vineyards, 7627 Grape Vine Drive, New Tripoli, PA 18066 Web Site
  3. Pre Race Day Packet Pick Up Option: (Optional but recommended). We will offer a Friday evening (June 5th) PPU option at Blue Mountain Vineyards. Time will be 4pm-6pm. You may pick up for others! This is an opportunity to get your race bib and race shirt to avoid last minute rush or possible lines on race morning.
  4. Race Day Packet Pick Up: If the pre-race day PPU option is not convenient, we will be on site on race day at Blue Mountain Vineyards between 7:30am-8:30am to distribute bibs and shirts. Please arrive EARLY as there is a few minute walk from the parking area to Check-In area, and back to the Starting Line.
  5. On-Site Registration Available: If race day registration is available, we will post on event page. Shirts are not guaranteed for same day registration.  
  6. Race Results: There are many options to view your race results. We will have an onsite computer kiosk with immediate race results available. There is a link available on our race site at www.gooddayforarun.com.
  7. Parking: There is FREE parking available.
  8. Awards: While this race is “chip timed”, our awards are based on Gun Time. Therefore, please note that if you are competing for an award, you should start near the front of the start line. We have awards available for the Top 3 Overall Runners and Top 3 per Age Category – every 10 years (male/female).
  9. Race Photos: We offer FREE Downloadable photos and will email out the link within a day of the race (typically).
  10. Finish Line: We will have water, snack, and Wine Glasses for our runners as they enter the finish line.  Each Runner will have a Wine Ticket on their bib which may be redeemed for a complimentary glass of wine.
  11. Live Music: At the post race reception, be sure to enjoy the live sounds of our acoustical soloist.
  12. Outside Alcohol: Outside Alcohol is prohibited to be brought to property (per law)
  13. Food Vendor: There will be a post race Food Vendor serving lots of options. Feel free to spend the day with us and enjoy some food with your wine!
  14. Bag Check: We do offer a Bag Check. Please note that bags should be picked up after the run (within 15 minutes of last finisher)
  15. Spectators: We welcome non running spectators to cheer on. If they would like to participate in the after party – that is great.
  16. Strollers and Dogs: This course is not suitable for dogs or strollers.

  18. Rain or Shine! In the event of storms – race will be postponed up to 1 hour.
  19. No Refunds or Transfers
