Food: There will be water and bananas available for the runners after completing the 5K. The Winery will also offer onsite hot food on their beautiful wood fired grill for a nominal fee.

     *No Outside Food Is Permitted

Wine:  After completing the 5K, each runner will receive a Run the Vineyard Wine Glass. You will have a drink ticket on your race bib to redeem for a complimentary glass of wine.

Live Music: There will be live music until about Noon.

Bag Check: We offer Bag Check at the Registration Tent. If you drop off a bag, we ask that you pick up within 15 Minutes of completing the run.

Awards: We will have an awards presentation at about 10am at the location of our musician. Awards are given out to the top 3 overall runners (men and women) and top 3 in age categories (men and women). Overall awards are based on Gun Time. Age group awards are based on Chip Start time. Awards will not be mailed.

Timing and Results: This event is chip timed with a chip start and finish. Each bib will have your information programmed on 2 chips located on the back of the bib. Your “chip time” will be calculated from the moment you cross the start line. However, please note that for awards, we use the “gun time” results for overall winners. So, if you are competing for an “overall award”, we suggest you start near the front of the pack. The timing company suggests that bibs are worn on the front of outer layer of clothing for best “read results.”

Results will be available within minutes on-line at www.JBSPORTSTIMING.COM. There will be a Result Kiosk on site.

Photos:  We will have a professional photographer on site taking pictures that will be available for FREE Download. Once the photo link is complete, we will email that link to runners and also have located on our web site. It should be within 24 hours.

Course: The course is primarily road and is flat. See Course Map below.

Spectators: We love when Family and Friends hang out to cheer you on and show their support. If they have an interest in wine tasting or having a glass of wine, they would just be asked to pay the normal fees charged by the Vineyard.

Purchases:  You are encouraged to stay and relax as long as you would like. Bottles and cases will be available for purchase at the vineyard.

Outside Alcohol is not permitted on property due to licensing laws.

GDFAR Swag:  We will have some Good Day for a Run gear available for purchase if you are interested.
